Public health specialist, author, and motivational speaker, Michael Forde(@michaelhforde) joins Motivational Monday to inspire us with his message entitled “Broken Crayons Can Still Color.”
Michael is currently a Public Health Doctoral Candidate candidate at George Washington University Milken Institute of Public Health. He attended undergrad at Southern Adventist University and completed his Master of Public Health degree at Campbell University School of Pharmacy & Health Sciences. Michael is motivated by knowing that he is not defined by his failures. He states “I am not my past. I am a work of progress, an art piece continually being crafted. This mindset makes me want to be better. It makes me want to strengthen my weaknesses and cover my wounds. My past does not, and will never, determine my future. My motivation is my value. My motivation is my worth.”
