As part of our mission to increase representation within the medical field, we have created this scholarship to assist students as they overcome one of the biggest obstacles in the Journey, the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT) exam.
In partnership with MyNextSeason and ProjectYou, we are providing 50 underrepresented students with Kaplan’s Platinum MCAT preparation bundle ($700 value) free of charge. The bundle includes the following:
- 9 months of access to online resources
- 7 book subject review set
- 2,900+ smart Qbank with customizable quizzes and in-depth explanations
- 6 full-length practice tests
- Detailed score reports that show areas to focus
Requirements
- Underrepresented students identifying as one or more of the following::
- African American / Black
- Asian: Filipino, Hmong, or Vietnamese only
- Hispanic / Latinx
- Native American / Alaskan Native
- Native Hawaiian / Other Pacific Islander
- Two or more races, when one or more are from the preceding racial and ethnic categories in this list
- Minimum GPA: 2.5
